Hello everyone!

I am currently sitting at 463 points (CEC stream). On May 7, I will have 2 years of work experience (that is 475).

Is it true that I might receive an ITA either next draw (March 18) or on April 1st? Of course, if the points will be <475

Nothing is guaranteed. The system tracks months and not exact dates. If it's calculating an additional 2 months on your work experience before you have that experience then you could receive it in March, but you can't apply until after your 2 years on May 7. I'd imagine you're more likely to get an invite after April 7th if you've had the same job for the 2 year period.

''Whereas Canada welcomed 320,000 newcomers in 2018, and 341,000 immigrants in 2019, it is targeting the admissions of 341,000 immigrants in 2020. ''

Do you think this will affect to crs points? I am not optimistic anymore...
Everything affects the CRS. lol

EE is just super competitive atm. It's still 85,800 ITAs for Express Entry, an increase over last year's target.

I worked for 1 year in one place and currently working at another place. But anyway, you think I should get an invite BEFORE the month of May?

I don't think it, because I can't say for sure. It's possible though, depending how your work experience is tallied by the system.

Just to let you know. May 7th, 2018 -> April 19, 2019 and April 22, 2019 -> Currently

As far as I'm aware the system calculates month to month. As such, I'm not exactly sure how it would handle the overlap in April without specifying exact dates for a comparison.

It depends if it counts April twice, which would net you an invite in April, I'd assume.

Thanks man. Well, I am not sure if EE profile supports dates. I think it is only Month and Year or employment

Yup. So it'll depend if, given that you've put April 2019 twice, it counts 2 separate months, or if the system flags the overlap and just counts it as 1. You'll find out in April I guess.

Last question from me! Excuse me for bothering you. In the worst-case scenario, when I should receive an ITA accoring to my case and employment dates?

I am very concerned about it because in May there might be a Skill Worker draw that might increase CRS cut off. I am just hoping to get it BEFORE May
