November - 2019 Citizenship Applications

India just restricted travel for incoming non-citizens (including OCI holders) because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now I hope to delay my citizenship application as I have travel plans in May.

Could be. Same thing happened to me. I called them on March 2nd, the guy was helpful and told me it was about a fingerprint request. He opened a request asking them to send the request again and that it could take 30 days for another email. I received it the next day. And the email does not start with 'DO NOT REPLY', like the first email we receive from them. That's why I think I accidentally deleted it.

It is in fact FP request, Just spoke to CIC and it was sent on physical mail and she said I have 30 days time to send FP. I only have 15 more days and I still haven't received the letter.

Ow, I forgot to add the day they started to process: Feb 14, 2020. And I'm single.

In Q10a about residence history, i did not overlap the months (but no gap) e.g. 2016-09 to 2019-04 and then 2019-05 to present.

But in Q11 about employment history, i did overlap 2016-09 to 2017-05 and then 2017-05 to present

Do you think my application will be returned ?

totally normal, us vancouver ppl prob won’t get the test invite until around June for July is my guess.

Most likely yes, because they have already been cancelling test dates and ceremonies.
