Hi Ritesharor, I am also from the Hamilton office and I did my citizenship test on November 21 and got decision made shortly after. I am still waiting for an Oath invite. Are you still waiting for your oath invite?

We are on the same boat. I've taken the test on October 31st, "Decision Made" on November 14, and no oath invitation. I sent a message to my MP today. Perhaps they are able to find a solution to speed up the process...

Please share any updates you get. I'm in the same boat as you all. I sent my application in April 2019, had my test and interview on November 28 and was told I could expect a letter for the oath. I've yet to see any further updates.

Hi!

As far as updates: I've sent an e-mail to my MP... The response was that because it's showing "Decision Made" in the system, there's nothing that they can do except wait for the Oath Invite.

@attirah has sent a webform to IRCC, and the response was pretty much the same (generic), that we should wait for the Oath Invite.

So, sit tight and wait... Tagging some people from the Hamilton Office.

To be honest guys you all seem to be under 12 months for DM so that your oath is taking a bit longer still puts you in a better boat than many other applicants. Seems Hamilton are fast for processing (compared to many others) but slow on Oath.

Hi,

my application was through the Hamilton office, and I have now completed the process, including a virtual oath ceremony. The oath ceremony was handled by the Niagara office though, so either they are handling part of the load, or taking over Hamilton's oaths.

But in either case, they are progressing.

Can you share the details of your timeline?

Or, could you please let us know if you applied for Urgent Processing or if you're an essential worker?

We have at least 5 cases of people taking the test in October of last year, the file is in Decision Made, and no updates on the Oath.

Thanks for replying.

Roughly my timeline was as follows:
Applied in April 2019
Did the test in November 2019 with decision made immediately after
Received an email asking if I was ok with a virtual ceremony late august/early September.
Had the virtual ceremony later in September. (Had a pre-ceremony session earlier that week to verify IDs and go through some practicalities in prep for the ceremony).
I did not apply for urgent processing, nor am I an essential worker. So I would think they are doing these ceremonies as fast as possible now.

The application went back to "In Process" today.

OK. So, it's been almost 1 month since I posted here. We received a letter to update our police certificates because ours were expired (1 year). I called them last week to confirm they received everything from RCMP, which was the case. Hurry... and WAIT...

Please let me know if you had similar experiences.
