Will I get PR soon because my work permit extension was approved?

I have applied for express entry in December 6th, 2019, they have collected my biometrics from Jan 8th, my medical results have been passed from 20th December, 2019 but my background check is still under review.

I have recently received my work permit extension on March 5th (submitted it on December 7th). Does this mean that I might receive my PR soon ?

Of course not, these are 2 completely separate and independent applications.
