Bridging open work permit

Hi All,

I apologise if this has already been answered before. I have my AOR and my PGWP is expiring this May. I was ready to apply for the bridging but someone told me first do your biometrics for your PR then apply for Bridging? Is this true? I thought one can apply for Bridging immediately after getting AOR.

You can apply for BOWP after AOR. Biometrics for PR is irrelevant.
