Work Experience Calculation Help

Hello,

I know this has been discussed multiple times on many forums. But i am still a bit confused and therefore needed some clarification.

I worked in one company part time for 25 months - 24 hrs / week
and in the second company full time for 16 months - 45 hrs/ week (Currently working in the same company)
There was a gap of 9 days between the two companies

My NOC code for both the jobs is same.

How many years of experience will this total up to? As my score has already increased from 446 to 471 as the system updated my experience to three years! I have also received an ITA so should i pursue with it and start collecting my documents?

24/30*25/12 = 1.7 yrs
16/12 = 1.3 yrs

Not a precise calculation. From the looks of it you are fine. But only you can decide if it's indeed 3 yrs since we don't know the exact details of your work schedule

Calculation should be based on weeks to be precise, not months. Also factor in whether you had unpaid leaves, etc.

As per weeks,
for the first company the exact weeks amounts to 110.
And for the second company it is around 68 weeks.

The gap of 9 days wouldn't make a different right?
