Why July and August AORs are still waiting for MR

Many June AORs get MR in Oct and Nov last year,but most July AORs are still waiting for their MR. it seems that IRCC pause to send MR since November last year.

Anyone know why it’s happened?

Because they are doing background check first and I think mr will be the last step.

It makes sense, so upfront medical is not a good choice in 4 months after AOR.

many Nov, Dec, Jan AOR applicants also got a biometrics. I think IRCC put Jul Aug applicants on hold and did later one first.

I got biometrics but no mr yet what about you?

I think you will get mr and biometrics together but for safer side you should call ircc or put a webform

July AOR. Upfront medical was extended on mid of Feb. Only security is pending. Now those did upfront medical, most of them assessed and passed the file. Still don't know how cic works on our file. Need some update guys.

Hi, what do you mean that medical was extended for your upfront medical? Which means we can do upfront medical anytime after AOR? Does immigration extend medical before it expires automatically? Is there no risk of redo medical when it is expired? I am really curious about upfront medical. Thanks so much.

It was upfront medical. I sent upfront medical with my PR file. It depends person to person for upfront medical. Rather than waiting for long time for request, it's better to do upfront that's my opinion.

July Aor medical and ADR send in dec 19 . I didn't heard anything after that. File is at Sydney NS. I don't think they are working on pnp files .

Hi Aman!!! After a long time I have seen your post. We are same timeline. After medical nothing has happened. For me security left. I don't know it's started or not. What about yours?
