Greencard holder moving to Canada

Hi my friend applied Canadian work permit on July 2018 from uae. Her application still on process. Now she landed in USA as Green card holder . So what will happen her work permit in UAE. Her LmIa has been expired last year. She send email to abudhabi about her status and address change . As us green card holder ddoes she requires to get TRV ? Or she can get direct work permit in the border? As her lmia expired last December does she will denied her work permit?

If she wants to get a work permit at the border - she needs a new (valid) LMIA.

Has she ordered GCMS to see what is happening to the work permit application. Something is clearly wrong if it was filed almost 2 years ago. Was this done through a consultant? Was the WP actually submitted? How did she get the job
unfortunately there are lots of scams out there.

She should order GCMS notes to see what is happening with the work permit. She has been waiting far too long and my guess is that something is wrong.

However applying for a work permt at the border certainly isn't possible unless she gets a new LMIA.

Oh my bad it was 2019 end of July she applied. It’s online application . I help her to file an I did help her to provide LMIa. So it’s not scam. We can track her file online . Still said on process . In August 2019 she asked to submit fingerprints and did at same time since then it’s on process.letter on her USA process go fast then Canada work permit .so she need to land in state .she did sent email about her status and address change .just got autoreply message.
