Creating New Express Entry profile after rejection due to incompleteness

Due to a mistake in my application, I received an email that my application was rejected and I need to create a new express entry profile if I am still interested in PR. My existing express entry profile is still active. Is it possible to create a new profile using my current CIC login or do have to create a new MyCIC login

When i attempt to do this, I get a message that i already have an existing express entry profile.

What is the status of your existing Express Entry application?

I faced similar fate as you (EE application cancelled due to incompleteness) and I just created a new EE application under my existing MyCIC and did not face any issue. The status of the previous application is CANCELLED AS INCOMPLETE.

Thanks for the clarification. I think my status of my application has not yet been updated hence my inability to create a new profile.

It changed to that at the time of rejection issuance. I received email saying there's a message then when I logged in I saw Application/Profile Updated by the time I read the message in the inbox and came back to the main page it changed to that.

What does it say for you? It still says submitted??

I got the email saying there has been a change in my profile. However when i log in, my profile still says submitted.

You need to send webform to them about this issue.

No, it was for my first application which I filed February 2019 and got cancelled on 5th June.

Got it . I used to think cancellations happen within the first month and not after medicals/biometric is completed

I also thought the same. That cancellation for incompleteness happens before medicals and biometric.

To be canceled after 4 months for incompleteness is just sad.
