I am concerned that Canadian work duration was not mentioned on the GCSM notes, does that mean that the officer has excluded it from my points?

you get points for Canadian work if you have completed at least 1 year of work experience in Canada. And as per the above numbers, it looks like that experience (11 months) cannot be counted towards foreign work experience !!

So why when i created my profile on express entry, it counted that experience towards foreign work experience. It gave me 472 points. I wouldnt had submitted my profile if it wouldn't count.

I am not fully sure about it, but you can do the math and confirm it with above numbers

my case is also similar and I see my Canadian experience duration is not counted towards the foreign work experience total duration.

My AOR is August 31st and medicals were passed on September 16th.
My processing office is Montreal.
The 6 month mark on my application was on February 28th.
I haven't heard anything from the officers since September 16th.

Any thoughts on any action I could/should be taking? Or is it just a waiting game at this point?

You have the exact same timeline as myself, except I was asked to provide an RCMP certificate when my medicals were passed. @OscarTsai and @mfsbf_87 also have very similar timelines.

What I have personally done earlier this week is: 1) Send a webform, got a copy-paste response back within 2 days as expected, telling me that my application is still in process and all information was received by the responsible office. 2) Requested GCMS notes (2nd set), which I expect to receive by the end of March.

Unfortunately this particular office has a track record of making decisions well beyond the 6 months mark, and even 12 months in many cases. I strongly recommend that you request GCMS notes under the Privacy Act (inland) or Access to Information Act (outland).

Are you FSW or CEC? I am assuming you are an inland applicant?

Yes, you are on outland candidate, so you can not make that request yourself. You need to use a service. getgcms.com seems to be a popular option on this forum, but I hope other members can confirm that.

Medical pass: Mar 2019
Eligibility pass: Oct 2019
Background check pass: Jan, 2020
Medical extended: Jan 23, 2020
Landing interview notice: Feb. 10, 2020
Landing interview scheduled: Mar. 5, 2020
COPR: I assume it's the same day as above?

Update, I was right, got COPR yesterday! And changed my wife's status from international student to domestic today with it, no need to wait for the PR card or new SIN number.

Since you are more experienced in this, would you please give me some advice about my case?

Case was transferred to Montreal VO on Oct 10, 2019, according to an agent.
Current status:
- Eligibility in process
- Criminality in process
- Security not started
I think this status has been remaining like this for months. I also ordered the GCMS notes on Jan 2 but got a 90 day delay. I ordered the 2nd set of the notes few days ago and hopefully I can get it this time.
Called IRCC twice and got the "Everything looks good" answer and "Eligibility under review, background check not started" answer respectively.

My questions are: do you think it's normal that eligibility and criminality are in process at the same time for such long time? What's the possibility of such circumstance? I also saw two FSW inland cases recently getting refused at Montreal VO on immitracker because of the applicants' job reference letter issues and that makes me quite nervous about mine. Any advice?

Online statuses don't mean anything. Eligibility will show as in progress till the very end. It changes to approved only after copr is issued so jt will show as in progress even when you get PPR or landing interview letter.

In other VOs background check status changes sometimes but in Montreal that may or may not happen.

Long story short doesn't matter what online status is showing. Only way of knowing your true status is GCMS notes. Also, work reference letter based review required are quite common in Montreal and they would put it in review required for even minor deficiency in documentation. But in most cases such review required are passed by final visa officer.

Thanks for your reply! Yeah I get the status not changing in Montreal VO till the very end, so I guess I need to be patient (again!) and wait for the notes. Hopefully my case doesn't get delayed for too long for the final decision.
