Hi, I am an International student in Manitoba and my partner applied for a spousal work visa from New Zealand. Due to time zone difference he couldn't check the application form properly and trusted the agent blindly. I was in touch with our visa agent over phone or emails. We received a PFL. Somehow due to some clerical error our visa agent missed my partner's visa refusals. However, we had proof of my conversation that we disclose it but they didn't fill in the form. We have applied with our response before the deadline. It's more than 2 weeks but we haven't hear back from canada immigration HK office. Can you please tell me how long does it take? My study in ending in April 2020 and study visa is valid till June 2020.

Your best hope here is that the application is refused and that your spouse is not banned. There could be a miracle somehow, but it is still your responsibility as the applicant to ensure the form is correct. There are no timelines for a response to a PFL.

Okay, thank you for the information.

Hi visa got refused but without a ban. Would you be able to give an excellent immigration lawyer contact?
What do you want the lawyer to do? Your partner should reapply once you have PGWP, a job with NOC 0, A or B and 3 pay stubs. They will have to include the previous refusals and this new refusal.
