Pre Arrival: Mar 3rd
Decision Made: Mar 3rd

Hopefully we get our PPR soon. (Fingers crossed)

Im also curious on the PPR process now. Since Iranians have to send the physical passport to Ankara, and that is usually done through a 3rd party travel agency. However, with the Iranian borders being shut, i wonder how that is going to be done. I read somewhere that in cases like this, IRCC will provide a 90 day window instead of 30.

If anyone has any concrete information, or has received PPR after the border shut down, please do share for all to know more.

Actually I was checking the flights to Turkey, It shows that there are flight going on from Mar 17th, but as you guys know god knows if its gonna happened or not, we just can only sit and see if everything goes alright in Iran and they start the flights soon or not.
I was thinking to send my wife to Turkey completely for that PPR process by herself to get it done there and have a one way flight to here from Istanbul, it is cheaper and also more reliable than straight from Iran.

This is important for them to provide documents which prove your marriage is real. It is better to have documents if you live together like bills and bank accounts and apartment rental contract and etc. I think the foreign marriage certificate is enough while neither of you did not live in Iran.

You're welcome, remember that all documents which prove your long term relationship is worthy. In addition to aforementioned, do not forget the social medias, daily chatting, etc. And pictures with others not just double ones could be very helpful.

You can also provide screen shots of Facebook profile of both of you showing the date you got married (we both put a picture of us together for our cover photos), screen shots of photos of you together on you FB/Insta and comments of your friends (like congratulations maybe) and your chats obviously. I also added copies of our tickets and hotel voucher of our honey moon to our file.
