Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hi.

I have applied for my Parents PR and AOR Received date on my file is 13th june 2020.

I can see the file is in In Process for both Sponsor and PR Application in my ECAS from January 20,2020.

However there is no update after that ? Is anybody else in the same boat as me ?

same AOR. In process since Feb 4, asked for sponsor birth certificate on Feb 14.

My sponsor part is in process since Dec 9 2019. I called cic multiple times and they told me nothing required and just wait.

On Jan 30, 2020 I requested the electronic notes of my file and recieved them today an hour ago.

In the notes, I see the first point said additional documents required by Cpc Mississauga office. I immediately called ircc and upon checking they told me that they are awaitingn documents from the province and not me......

Also I checked in the notes that the due date for the province to send documents to Mississauga office has past already.....

What should I do? It's been 3 months sponsorship side of application is in process and waiting on documents from the province....

Please help and suggest. I remember a few went over the same issue and they had to contact the province??? Please reply

were you asked for any Additional documents ? Or did you get any request for Biometrics, PCC or Medical yet ?

Hi @robertp I got DM on PA today but didn’t received pre arrival letter or PPR yet from NDVO. Anyone else in same boat ?

I was asked to submit exactly same documents. I dont have Aadhar card too. I wrote an explanation letter (not possible to visit India for Aadhar card now ) and sent them. now waiting.

Thank you! I will prepare an explanation letter. Did you also mention any facts in the letter such that when did Aadhar card start, and why you don't have one?

Are you PR or Citizen of Canada? If your Citizen of Canada you are not suppose to hold a Aadhar card or Voter card of India. Give that reason in explanation letter.
If your PR of Canada just provide whatever you currently have voter card or Aadhar card and school certificate and send a explanation letter I never applied for Aadhar card or Voter ID whichever you are missing.

They've requested a social assistance check. Which province are you in? I'm in AB and my app was in process Sep 9th and I didn't get approval until Feb 13th. It will get processed, just slower than other applications. I didn't contact the province regarding this (I just waited) but others did - maybe they can help?

No I didn't get any request for additional documents. They are saying they are waiting on province to send some documents not me.

Are you from ON? If from ON, call the social services department in ON and ask them to send response to IRCC.
In case your are from AB, then let me know, i’ll give you some information.

In my case, it was sent to sponsor. It was mentioned on the sponsorship approval letter.
