It took me 6months to learn French from scratch to B2 level. It was 6months of consistent everyday study both in and out of the classroom. I wrote TEF in the 7th month. I would recommend getting a private tutor for the elementary stages (A1,A2). For B1,B2 learning has to be more formally structured., hence it is highly recommended you enrol in a school.Watch level appropriate French content on YouTube. I have been following this forum from quite sometime and thanks to all who share valuable information in this forum and keep everyone motivated.
I am also in the same boat waiting for ITA since June 2019.
I have tried ielts several times but no luck. I’m stuck in reading and always left behind by .5 in reading and writing.
I’ll will be at 464 in May as I will complete my 2 years of work experience and my work permit will expire in sep 2020.
I’m thinking of taking French lessons, if there is anyone in this forum who has taken French lessons before, if he can guide on how much time an average person takes to learn French and if any private lessons are required or online tutorials are enough for the exam.
How much it cost to learn French ?
Thanks
They've been doing these Tuesday's maintenances every week for the last 2 months or so. So, short answer: No, it doesn't.there is system maintenance today on CIC website..does it have any relevance with the draw?

On average each day adds 310 people to the pool with a score of 451+, that means every 14 days about 4350 are added, unless this trend of 4000+ ITA's continues then the cut off score will remain high (around 471)Someone plz clear my doubt
As of feb 14 there were 22k people in the range of 450 to 600
And there was a draw on feb 19 of 4500
And in tomorrows draw if again there is a draw of 4000 for example
Then the number of candidates in that table will reduce right?
If at all any additions for example 2k per month,
then also there are high chances of numbers getting reduced in the table right?
So in this way iam thinking thst scores may reduce in the near future
Please correct if iam wrong anywhere and give the information
Just a disclaimer: 4350 people in the range of 451-500. So, I would say it’s safe to bet only half (or less) of these people are 470+ applicants. Probably the other half is coming from candidates in the pool who are getting Canada diplomas and Work Experience and adding more points to their previous scores. On average each day adds 310 people to the pool with a score of 451+, that means every 14 days about 4350 are added, unless this trend of 4000+ ITA's continues then the cut off score will remain high (around 471)
Sounds good. And I don't think I can refuse to do it either lol.I th
i think that was for an entirely different visa category and the VO handling your application might not have time to request your already executed biometric. Save yourself some drama and get it done one more time
OfcourseHi guys, I registered a express entry profile just now. Will I be eligible for tomorrow’s draw?
Your profile will state if you are and what streams you're eligble for. Then it comes down to your CRS and the next cutoff.Hi guys, I registered a express entry profile just now. Will I be eligible for tomorrow’s draw?
Thank you for the reply. It states I am eligible for federal skilled workers. I am currently at 474...a bit nervous about the score of tomorrow’s draw though...Your profile will state if you are and what streams you're eligble for. Then it comes down to your CRS and the next cutoff.
