I did, but honestly she was just useless, she kept promising me stuff, to eventually tell to just wait, and that she knows nothing.

Oh okay.. I contacted my MP in December. He said if your husband doesn't come in 12 months call me then he will do something but like you said maybe it is useless

No update for me as well, i have booked a ticket to go see my wife i will leave this Friday for 12 days. If i received my medical exam while i am there that will be great otherwise i will try and see if possible to request a meeting with the canadian embassy in amman if i am allowed tho.

I will order GCMS notes or ATIP. But it will take about a month to get it. Maybe I will have more information this way for my file... I donno, I hate just waiting around and not be able to do anything

My wife did the biometrics when she applied for visitor visa

The biometrics for visitor don’t count as for permanent residence application.I apply for visitor visa and my husband did biometrics.Then they send me another request for my husband to go to biometrics for permanent residence...I was so mad but my lawyer said it’s two different applications so he had to go get it done.Now our application got sent to Amman dec 3 and now we’re waiting for medical exam request

They just asked us for the biometrics fees and they said in the email that we have to pay before 12 dec but I paid in January this year and I sent a copy of the receipt to the ircc but after that nothing happened

So your spouse hasn’t done biometrics abd your application still went to Amman for processing???

That’s weird mine came in a couple weeks after I payed online for biometrics

Even in gc key it shows that biometrics has been taken on the same date that she applied for the visa
We should get the medical instructions in the same time please let me know when you get it

Yes I will let you know 4sure.Thats good then because my husband they never accepted that one.Inshallah tomorrow this week we will receive medical request

Do this mean that our application went through and got accepted. And what would be the next step if anyone has an idea. Thanks for your response

That's good, biometric remain in her file for 10 years. They probably started background check in early stage which is good save you some time.
