Study permit extension

Hi, my friend came to Canada in september 2018 and he did not study as there were some personal issues also he could not focus on study however he is going to register for courses tomorrow but he missed 2 semesters and the 3rd semester was missed due to college. Can he apply for study permit extension as his permit is expiring this july? Also, will he need to show any letter because he does not has any transcript. Please help.

1. If he didn't attend school since 2018, his Study permit has probably been canceled, and it is unlikely that he would get an extension.

Difficult to know, if they ask for transcripts he's screwed but if he submits just the enrollment letter and they accept he might survive. He could also have issues further on when applying for pgwp or anything else.

He is a dead man walking. He will neither get his degree nor his PGWP. An extension, maybe and that is only if the college is incompetent enough to allow him to continue.

Now he is not worrying about PGWP all he want sometime and get any degree to show to his family. Things went wrong when he came here. I am trying to find any solution for him so his study permit get extended. He doesnot have any transcript or letter of academic standing but he is going to register as a full time student soon.
