Yes it mentions bg check going on, if they need any thing it will be requested other wise decision will be made. This is scary of mississauga, it ask for every thing in one go and long silence. What if we miss any thing and..... Other lvo communicating and asking docs one by one.. Our vo is not answering to queries and burden of understanding is on us from what ever available to us...

Yes, not sure whats going on, Gckey has last update as medical passed on Jan 13th. I emailed PCC and Supplementary travel information form long back.
But still background check hasn't started yet. Will have to call CIC tomorrow.

When the parents are going to land in Canada, do they need to show proof of funds or settlement funds?

No. You are responsible for them financially for the next 20 yrs.

No issue. The no of cases and the spread is still very very low comparing to the population and geographical size.

Hi.

I have applied for my Parents PR and AOR Received date on my file is 13th june 2020.

I can see the file is in In Process for both Sponsor and PR Application in my ECAS from January 20,2020.

However there is no update after that ? Is anybody else in the same boat as me ?
