I would like to request your input on two questions I have regarding form cit0002e Question 9.
1. Do I need to make sure there is no gap in my timeline? Eg do I need to list implied status?
In some threads it was suggested it over-complicates things. In others they suggest to inform them that I have stayed in the the country during that time to be transparent.
My plan is to leave the gaps on the form for the timeline list and add a page with details of the implied statuses.
Is this what most people do?
2. In case of overlapping visas what does 'Date your status expired' mean?
The date which is written on my visa OR the date my new status came to affect?
My work visa started before my previous visitor visa expired. Same with PR it came earlier than my work visa ended.
eg
Visa #1- Visitor: from Jan 20, 2015 to April 20, 2015
Visa #2- Work Permit: from March 10, 2015 to March 10, 2017
PR Feb 15, 2017
my timeline would be as below?
Visitor: status obtained- Jan 20,2015 - status expired-March 09, 2015
worker: status obtained- March 10,2015 - status expired-Feb 14, 2017
