Canada has increased the intake which means more and more people apply and more and more people talk about applying which brings more people to the pool and so on. This my case. If it wasn't for a couple of friends I would never have considered it.

Need help. I got my ITA letter under CEC on Feb 19 draw day. However, when I completed Application questionnaire (personal details, contact detail, study and languages...) and entered the "preview my score" page, it shows that I met both FSW and CEC. In my express entry profile I only met CEC. Can someone kindly explain why? I don't have foreign education or experience.

Does not matter. They will consider you under CEC. You could also see this in your invitation letter.

What are your job duties as stated in your employment/reference letter? What NOC are you looking at?
Here are my job duties:
  • Prepared and cooked a wide variety of dishes daily from fresh ingredients including salads, soups and sandwiches under time constraint
  • Prepared food to order for customers with dietary restrictions, as instructed by the supervising cook
  • Planned dishes daily taking into account portion size, food costs and dietary variety
  • Maintained an inventory of fresh ingredients daily using the “first-in first-out” method and ordered supplies from distributors as needed
  • Cleaned kitchen, work stations, appliances, equipment and cold room storage daily
  • Set up and monitored dishes on display and replenished them as needed
  • Guided new hire in their responsibilities
Not sure whether it is NOC 6711 or 6322...

Thank you. I read some other threads and I decreased the funds to 10000 CAD, then it changed to FSW not met. I guess it doesn't matter cuz my document checklist didn't change.

If it's CEC, you don't have to show proof of funds as you are already in Canada. It is actually a good thing.

All these sudden 470 plus CRS dudes can possibly go to Hawaii or may be Bermudas, relax there some time and then come back to EE
Had enough of them. Many applicants climbed a mountain to get the IELTS done but these new dudes are able to max it out with ease.
The earlier first come first serve method seems to be better lately
But seriously not sure from where only all these new dudes come and make everyone's life hell

Its more to do with rising awareness and increasing stringent visa norms in other countries.

Guys, one thing I've been wondering lately: the 2020 targets for Federal High Skill (FSW, FST, CEC) is 85,800 and for PNP is set to 67,800.

Now, are these 67,800 counting PNPs that have Express Entry streams? I mean, if for example I get an EOI from Alberta EE Stream, apply, and get the 600 additional points in my EE profile (therefore, receives an ITA), I will be counted towards the 85,800 or the 67,800 target?

Is the 67,800 only counting PNPs that are not related to EE?
