Hello guys
I am going to apply for student visa along with my family.
Currently I am outside canada with my 3 kids and my husband is inside canada on study with work permit which is going to expire soon.
I found the application to apply for me from outside Canada with my husband while he is in Canada
- My husband and I already have valid visit visa with good proof of fund but my kids haven’t any visa, is it a good idea to apply all together?
- regarding processing time it shows 6 weeks for study permit , will it be the processing time for my application in such case or the delay is expectef coz of my husband work permit?
(Since work permit processing time is longer )

Study permits can take longer than 6 weeks. Why isn’t your husband applying for PGWP?

Thanks for reply, he is not graduated yet.
I am going to apply for student visa with kids so I got this idea to save some time.
I am still unclear is your husband finishing his studies and applying for his PGWP?

Getting a study permit is not guaranteed because you have to show that you will return to your home country after your studies. Given that your husband is in Canada already your ties to Canada are much stronger.

What are you and your husband actually trying to d? Is he planning on studying and you will as well?
