Thats correct, They still dont have allotments for 2020. I read somewhere on CIC News that this allotments should be given out latest by March 2020.It’s been 16 days since I got my file number ... guess just need to be patient. Is it true that Alberta hasn’t had its 2020 allocation of nomination certificates as yet from the federal government?
Congratulations. Do you have any connection (Job offer/education/work ex/ close relative at Alberta/Canada) ? Kindly confirmCook 6322, CRS 363
Looking at 2019 trend expecting large number of draws from March 2020. That could be a great opportunity for outlanders like us.Thats correct, They still dont have allotments for 2020. I read somewhere on CIC News that this allotments should be given out latest by March 2020.
Agree, that is quite possible & hope this does start happening. On usual years all provinces receive their nominations by Nov (previous year). This year it was specifically delayed because of the elections.Looking at 2019 trend expecting large number of draws from March 2020. That could be a great opportunity for outlanders like us.
No last year also it was all same... Till Jan 30th 2019 Alberta has not received detail of total nomination that they can issue in 2019 .. see link below :Agree, that is quite possible & hope this does start happening. 1. Selection from Express Entry pool and Notification of Interest process
Based on available profile information in the Express Entry portal, Alberta may select candidates and send them a Notification of Interest letter in their federal Express Entry profile. This information is self-declared by candidates in the Express Entry pool
You may receive a Notification of Interest letter if you:
- Have an active Express Entry profile in the federal Express Entry pool
- Have stated an interest in immigrating permanently to Alberta
- Are working in an occupation that supports Alberta’s economic development and diversification, and
- Have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 300.

2.The number of nominations the AINP can issue for 2019 is not yet available. The AINP will continue to assess applications in the queue and issue nominations in January 2019.
Approximately 1,700 applications await assessment for eligibility.
