If you or your parents had worked in police then how long were the processing time in your case? My father has worked in police and they asked for service detail. Which I have provided now fingers crossed, can anyone tell me how long it took in their case?

Really depends on what he was involved with in the police. There will be huge variability in processing times. If he was in a lower level patrol or office job not a huge delay. If he was more senior and involved in security or other high level stuff it may take months.

He retired more than 10 years ago. Worked about 38 years in police on various ranks from Constable to Sub Inspector.

There isn’t a clear answer just plan for i5 to take a bit longer. How long can be days to months nobody here can tell you.
