@legalfalcon : My AOR is November 27. In our application we have mentioned work details and NOC for both primary and secondary applicants and provided required reference letters and proof of employment history, although there are no points awarded for secondary work experience.

My question is, does it lead to delay in processing as both work experiences have to be evaluated now? Also, can there be a review required or ADR etc. on secondary work experience documentation even though one isnt claiming points for it? Please advice @legalfalcon
It has no impact on the processing.

Hi ALl,

My timeline : CEC inland with one dependent (wife)

AOR- 16th NOV 2019
ADR Scheule A for my wife: December 5th (submitted next day)
ADR RCMP for me : December 10th (submitted after few days)
Medical Passed : Dec10th
Medical retake request : Feb 18th.

I did my initial medical on Feb15th 2019 and used same for my PR application. Today i received a message to retake medical as my initial medical expired after a year. Could this be coincidence that i got medical request today, 4 days after the expiry or there has been some good progress on file (everything completed and they can not process further without medical). I read it somewhere that the retaking of medical is only done when all other checks is completed (correct me if my assumption is wrong).

The other question which i have is that i don't see any link to upload the proof that i have got the medical done again. Is it taken care by the panel doctors or are we involved in any way ? What stage do you guys think my application is at ?
Would like to update you all on the progress. Managed to talk to CIC agent this morning.
Eligibility - Passed
Criminality - Passed
Security - Passed.

Only thing left to do is to redo the medicals, cause it expired. Based on my scenario, i think the ask from CIC to redo the medical is only done after completion of all other checks.

@legalfalcon Hi, I raised CSE this week and got reply as for eligibility checks as below

  • The eligibility verifications are in process.
However, when I rang them a week back, the agent told me that the eligibility checks are recommended pass.

What do you think has happened here? Is it possible that one of them is not giving correct information?

Hi, I raised a CSE on Monday and this is the reply I have received back today:

AOR: 6th November 2019

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

  • The background verification have not been initiated.
  • The security background verification is currently valid.
  • The criminal background verification is currently valid.
  • Eligibility of your application has been met, however, further assessment of your application is awaiting an officer’s review.
While the processing times may vary with each case, we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

I thought that background checks are security and criminal verifications combined? So why would they both be valid, yet background verification has not been initiated?

If it’s possible, can you please share your status on the IRCC portal? Did anything change? Mine has been the same for a while. Thanks

Thank you. We submitted an old document for secondary roles and responsibilities. Rest everything was detailed and current dated from the employer. You think we should submit additional documents for secondary applicant employment or it doesn’t make any difference as we aren’t claiming points for it? Can there be an ADR or RR for secondary applicant’s work experience? @legalfalcon
