Hello there, I received an email saying that your application has changes, sign in to your account and view the application you submitted. When I log in to my GC account, I do not see anything. Am I missing something here? Timeline is Application received Jan 24, 2020; AOR1 Feb 07, 2020

Hmm You got an email. I just saw that my status change in GCKey to "Application/profile updated" But nothing is different . I guess that's the infamous ghost Update.

Do I really need to link my application to an online account?

I have a very unique case going on and would like to share with everybody out there so that they know about it in case if it happens to anyone. I submitted my wife's documents on the 11th Jan. AOR received on 1st Feb that documents were received on 20th Jan. I linked the application number provided to me with GC Key. Last Thursday on the same application number I got a message that Application status has changed and when I checked the application was cancelled, which was a surprise to me. However, the same night my wife got an email for Biometrics request with a totally different Application number to the one I received initially. This made me call CIC (888-242-2100) to check what is the matter and why are there 2 application numbers given to me.

When I spoke to the representative on the phone, she told me that the case officer who dealt with my case made a wrong case initially that's why the first application number provided to me was wrong and was cancelled. And the Biometrics instruction letter provided to my wife was the correct application number which now I have linked to GC key.

I have 2 quick questions for anybody out there. My wife has already given her Biometrics and medical, she received the medical call as well, how long will it need to be updated on the GC Key? Her Biometric number is being shown on GC Key but under Biometric Line it still says the following:

Biometrics

• We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes

Secondly, she gave her medical and the current status shows your action is required. Will it disappear after the medical results are shared with Immigration? Or should we provide something to Immigration to complete that action.

Yup, Still In Process. I've been logging in to ECAS with My UCI number. I didn't even realize it was different for the PA until 2 days ago. But your before me. So hopefully one of us get through soon.

Interesting situation. Question? did you submit an application previously for sponsorship? Or was it for something else?

The bio has to be re-done if it was previously for a Study/Visit/Work Permit etc. Until they resolve it it will say that they may or not need that information etc. My husbands Bio Results from a previous TRV is there but it reads the same as yours. They will request again due to this being a Sponsorship application.

As for your Medical I believe it will be updated once received by them.

Like they plopped us in a pile to the side. I see about 4 JAM applicants in FEB as well. More than I've seen on last years spreadsheet.

Not if you don't want to. It's up to you. However if you don't link it, or have a rep link it. You'll have to wait for snail mail to be notified of updates to your account.

Interesting situation. Question? did you submit an application previously for sponsorship? Or was it for something else?

The bio has to be re-done if it was previously for a Study/Visit/Work Permit etc. Until they resolve it it will say that they may or not need that information etc. My husbands Bio Results from a previous TRV is there but it reads the same as yours. Hi all,

I have sponsoring my wife and kids from India. I submitted the application in December. Biometrics are done and the other day I got an email saying that application is sent to Newdelhi for further processing. I had submitted Medicals which expired on 30th January 2020 and I have not received a request for new medical test. Does anyone have any idea approximately how many days it will take for the visa to be processed.

Basically, I am the sponsor and representative of my wife (PA). I am scared to link it. what if I loose communication as a representative.

Oh, Well I basically just made an account in my husbands name and linked it with the app info. He barely uses the computer. I don't think it should be a problem if you log in with your wife's info. Your her Sponsor/Rep. I told them I was doing this on the phone they had no issues. You as the sponsor get all the emails regardless depending on which email you put where. Plus when you log in the correspondence sent is all in GCKEY.
