I am not so familiar with the terminology sorry. I called Quebec office and IRCC couple of times. Apparently, they are not in rush at all. I would strongly advice to get an MP involved if possible. Furthemore, consider a visit visa for your spouse. There is a special thread for it.

Ya there’s no way he will be approved for a visa and Quebec is slow but there’s really not much that can be done

At which point exactly do we need to send the Quebec package?

I got the sponsor approval email that said
"We are pleased to inform that you have met the federal eligibility requirements as a sponsor."
I printed that email and sent it off along with the Quebec package.

Then a week later I got another email saying
"We are pleased to inform that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor."
and it said to which VO the application was sent.

Did I make a mistake and sent off the Quebec application too early or did I do the right thing?

Same thing happened to me. The requirement from MIDI is just a letter inviting you to apply for CSQ from IRCC, and since both letters include the same information and language I wouldn't worry about it.

Same here. I sent ours right after the first email I got since the letter clearly invited us to submit the CSQ package. I was also not aware that another letter with the VO will follow and got worried for a bit.
Eventually, I got an AOR from MIFI and the payment went through. I assume all is good then. I'm pretty sure they're able to see which VO our file went to

Yes, the same thing happened with me as well. As others have replied, I think it should be ok. Nothing to worry.

1. As same as us, I got credit card charged on Feb 2, but not AOR yet.

2. I follow GCKey, ECAS and email for Federal. For MIFI, only one way is to call them.

The number is 1-514-864-9191.
I spoke in French, they answer in French. I guess they can speak English too. Try it.
I called there three times and got three different officers.

Since the beginning I also tried to find a spreadsheet on which we could be following timelines.
I worked on an existing spreadsheet and adapted it for Quebec. No need to ask for editing grants. It is open for everyone.

As long as it is not after March I can try hang in there... Being separated for this long is cruel! They asked us a documents which we uploaded more than a month ago and LVO still haven't informed us if the documents we attached and that they requested to be uploaded by 10th of FEB on the PA's (My wife's) account is valid or not. Hope everything goes through correctly with CSQ.
