Nah mate, PPR comes in batches. Today’s off in NDVO because of family day holiday. Hope we will get it tmrw. But if you look at the earlier trends, NDVO issues PPR’s on Thursday and Friday. So I am hoping for the Thursday we will get.

Hi everyone,
I think I found this forum late, but I would like to join to share my times and my experience.
I am Venezuelan, like my husband, and I live in Montreal, so I applied directly on paper in Canada and then our file was sent to Mexico.

I have sent the sponsorship application the first week of June, so my dates are:

Reception date: June 7, 2019
Request date of biometric data: August 07, 2019
Date when Sponsor side got approved: August 12, 2019
Date of entry of biometric data: August 16, 2019
Date on which our file was assigned to Mexico: January 22, 2020
Letter of commitment request for residents of Quebec: January 22, 2020
Date of entry of commitment letter for residents of Quebec: January 24, 2020

Only missing medical exams and send the passport for stamping.

I am very happy to have found this forum since I have been very anxious all this time.

Your timeline is good and shows that your file is progressing well.
I will however, suggest to you to have your spouse go and do an upfront medicals then forward same to IRCC through Case Specific Enquiry (webform). This will fasten the processing of your file and you will get your Passport Request email in no distant time.

Congratulations mate.
Could you please be kind enough to share how your timeline now looks on eCAS?

Hi,
Really?
I checked that this morning and I read that "You can’t get an upfront medical exam if you’re being sponsored as a spouse, partner or child. Wait for our instructions before going for your medical exam."
So, I don't what to do.

Need Suggestions on the following issue:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act states that a person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires. Please advise on below: - Following the RCMP check provide us with all and any court documents - Provide an explanation as to the reason why you have failed to declare your previous refusals temporary resident refusals in Canada, as required, on the Schedule A Background/Declaration. Subsection 11(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act provides that a foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or any other document required by the regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act. Based on the information that is available, I am not satisfied that you are not inadmissible and that you meet the requirements of the Act.. Before a decision is made in your case, I am providing you with the opportunity to comment on the above concerns or provide any observation or explanation in writing. You have thirty (30) days from the date of this letter to reply. If you choose not to respond with additional information, or if the new information forwarded by you is not satisfactory, a decision will be made based on the information in your file.
