If you sent the photos from USA, then will they deliver PR card to USA ? or do you use a friend's or relative's address in Canada to get the card delivered ?
According to the letter I got, PR Card is only delivered to a valid Canadian address. My letter doesn’t even have the courier address. However I went to Canada Post and was told express mail can get delivered to PO Box.

Hi Guys,

just wanted to update something here for everyone's benefit.
I received a request to resubmit photos to the Nova Scotia Case Processing Centre at the following address
Case Processing Centre - PRC
P.O. Box 4500
Sydney, Nova Scotia
B1P 6L1

Since none of the courier companies (here in the US )deliver to PO Box numbers, I wrote to IRCC asking them to give me an alternate address. And here's their OFFICIAL response that I received an hour ago (I mailed 4 days ago)

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

If you are waiting to receive your initial PR card, and the Case Processing Centre requires that you provide new photos, we invite you to:

  • Send two photos according to the photo specifications, and
  • Include:
    • if available, the letter/email received to that effect, or
    • an explanation letter (including your complete name, date of birth and UCI).
Where to send them

By regular mail:

Case Processing Centre - PRC
P.O. Box 4500
Sydney, Nova Scotia
B1P 6L1

If you would like to have proof that your photos were received, you may use registered or express mail with Canada Post or a courier service such as Purolator, UPS, FedEx, etc. Please instruct the courier service to use this address:

Case Processing Centre - PRC
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2

Please send the requested information within 30 days from the date of the letter that was sent to you.

I used a courier to send this to the 49 Dorchester Street address. Hope this helps others.
Hey @mohitprcanada thanks for your update. I received a similar photo re-submission request but the email doesn't mention the alternate mailing address. Do you think it would be alright to mail it to the other mailing address anyway?

Also, any idea if I can submit the letter and photos of me and my dependent together or do I have to send these as separate mails?

If anyone else also has any insights into this, I will very much appreciate your guidance :)

You can use the Dorchester st address or you can use USPS which will deliver to the PO Box. You can include all requested photos in the same envelope.

Hello everyone,
I came across this thread to get more information on my query. Hoping to get a fair advice/suggestion.
My wife landed on Feb 1, 2019 and hadn't received her PR card until the beginning of June so after submitting webform and calling IRCC we finally received a letter requesting for submission of COPR and photos which we sent to them last week and as per Canada post tracking it has been well received by them today on July 4, 2019.
Does anyone here know the approximate timeline to receive the PR Card ( assuming the resubmitted docs are up-to-date) ?

Thanks,
Digvijay

Hi members,

I just received a PRC photo request for my first PR Card. The request letter says "please return this letter and photos by mail to:

Case Processing Center - Permanent Resident Card
PO Box 4500
Sydney, Nova Scotia B1P 6L1

I am sending this from US. I went to Fedex and UPS and they don't deliver to PO Box without recipient phone number. So I checked this website - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/offices/case-processing-centre-sydney-nova-scotia.html

It states an alternate mail address for courier

49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2

Can I send my photos and request letter to this address instead? Did anybody go by this route successfully?

Appreciate your help. Thanks.
So did your documents reach properly via courier? did you get the PR card? I have been asked the same photos after landing, and I am also in US so i was asking.

Yes, they did. In fact just to be safe I called them and asked me to send an email confirming that the address was correct. <Replying this from Toronto> :)

Although it’s been a while but I remember looking up something like a Q&A or “Contact Us” on an official website. I searched through my older emails and found that the reply was from a Do Not Reply @Service Canada

I see, checking what email you sent your question to prompt a reply back, I went through a lot info and found nothing promising,.

49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2

After a month, i emailed to the cic help asking abt the status. They are saying its not received by them. Can anyone throw some light on what would be the best move ? resend the photos? Anyone has idea of CPC contact number?

Thanks
