Medical exams for Express Entry

In March 1st I will apply for EE under CEC, I will have 476 points by then which I'm pretty sure will get me ITA considering the recent draws

My question is if I should get my medical exam now before receiving ITA ? What is the upside and downside of doing this? Because I'm planning to apply right away within 3 days after ITA, hopefully to have my application processed asap.

Taking your medicals before receiving ITA won't speed up your process .

Yes i am aware of this, just trying to get everything done and all the docs available by that time...just for the peace of mind you know! thank you

So far so good. just passed the medical exam and it took 11 days.
