The 6-month period begins on the date when all the information required to process your application (forms and documents) has been received and added to your file. These persons can then submit an application for permanent residence to the Government of Canada.'

No French language certificate or valid job offer. I did my bachelors from Montreal and was one of the 18000 applicants who were returned their files. They only asked for three documents. Ielts, work permit and letter of experience. I guess they have all my other documents from before.

I know someone who was in the first files (less than #100), here is his timeline :

Invitation : july 7th
Documents request : september 24th
Documents sent : october 23th
CSQ received : november 20th

Received document request on 12th Feb. Application was picked up end of Sep'19 based on VJO. Submitted the application on 27th Oct'19. Application number was in the 1300. Nothing unusual with the requested documents. Only job experience letters, marksheets, birth/marriage certificate etc.

Received the document request last Thursday.

Mine is around 200. My docs were there already.

Now they are proposing a Value test starting from January. I guess that no CSQ will be issued by the end of 2019.

Yes, I received first document request on 10th of September, Sent documents on 26th October... received 2nd request for another 4 documents on 19th November
