Hello.

I'm reading all the information about the rural and northern pilot, and what I understand is shown in the next equation (at least for the studying option):

study 2 years+ get a job offer in the community+ English= Allowed to apply for residence.

My question regarding this program is, after finishing a 2 year program from a certified institution can I opt for the PGWP as I would no in any other city?

Thank you.

Assuming the school/program qualifies for a PGWP, you can apply. It has nothing to do with the PR app.

Please be clear with your question. I am assuming you are asking others if you can opt for PGWP, which is something you can apply for once you complete your course. Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Program does not explicitly give you a right to work in Canada like PGWP. Several communities have already recommended people with work permits and solid job offers. If you don't have a work permit when you apply for a recommendation, you can get a closed work permit once you get an AOR for your PR application which again takes approximately 90 days. Realistically speaking, you can't find work in Canada without a work permit (even after graduating from a Canadian institute). So, the answer is you need to get a work permit once you graduate, regardless of how you want to apply for your PR. I hope this helps.
