Hi
I received my citizenship certificate today. Should I update cic myself through webform or through my hired immigration lawyer?
You don't need to update CIC. As per the following Link:

Hello @robertp or @bdidol ,

I had two quick questions:
1. Do you know if anyone had to provide police clearance certificates if they were already in Canada for more than 6 months? My sister has been in Canada for just under 6 months and we are not sure if we need to provide a Canadian Police Clearance Certificate.

2. My parents did their medical exam but did not receive the information sheet printout (they just received a receipt saying they had paid for the test). Is this normal or is everyone supposed to receive a eMedical printout?

Thank you for all your help!! I hope this process moves smoothly for everyone here!

My application was received on June 20th. I received a letter from CIC on Nov. 1st asking to resubmit IMM5406 as I realized that I missed some info on it. I submitted the form (via email) next day Nov. 2nd. The letter that was sent to me had indicated Application number that starts with “XF”. I am not sure what my status is at this point - should I just sit tight and wait as it’s normal pace or should I be calling them and follow up. Appreciate some guidance from the experts.

Hello, I read your info regarding with your mom's medical. I have questions for you.
1. Did you pass the results of biopsy and treatment report to the panel physician? or you just give the recent prognosis report from the oncologist?
2. Did you get the recent prognosis report from the same oncologist?or different Dr. I'm asking this because my mom live in countryside and it will take here a plane to go to her former oncologist.
3. What medical procedure did they do to your mom? Did your mom told them that she had ovarian cancer?

I really need your response. Thanks in advance.
You could pay the oncologist to give an overview of her treatment and prognosis once he was done treating her.

My moms Medical was done in Nov 2018 as part of Visit visa extension.
They linked the same IME number (Old) to the PGP application in Sept 2019.
I received a furtherance request letter for medical asking us to see our doctor in Sept 2019.
The doctor mentioned that they have received communication from CIC asking for Sputum test and Chest X ray.
We did both in Sept 2019, the doctor said the sputum test results takes about 2 months.
I checked with the doctor in Nov 2019 and they said they forwarded the results to CIC.
After a week or so, saw an update online that Medical results were received.

I never mentioned to CIC that sputum tests results take a long time assuming they already know.
Just to be safe, you can send communication to them letting them know that the tests have been done on _____ and as per the doctor results could take ________ months.
Would have probably volunteered to repeat the whole medical. At this point it is expired and you will likely be asked to redo the medical minus the TB testing.

Good point. Was her medical redone? Very weird that they only asked for repeat sputum and chest x-ray he year later and not full medical.

Hi Seniors,
When visa office request, police certificate from the age of 18, do we also need to get it from Canada if stay is more than 6 months here.

Okay, May I will see another oncologist to get the prognosis then, I dont have a medical request yet, but I think its good to follow up again with the Dr.
