Assumed Name Change on Work Permit

Hi guys. I got married and recently changed my last name to my husband's. I need to update my Work Permit with the new last name as well. Has anyone done that before? I googled it but mainly just info for PR card. Can I use WebForm to submit the request for that?

I haven't yet. I only have my Driving License, Bank Info, etc. changed. And I'm holding a Vietnamese passport so they won't change it on the passport. They will only give a note on Observation saying I have another name

Then you I don't think you can change your name on your work permit. Work permit can only be issued on your passport name.

I see. Would it cause me trouble if my Work Permit and Passport have my maiden name, but the rest of my IDs have my assumed name?

Have a copy of your marriage certificate with you. This happens in Canada all the time.
