Hi everyone! I have been lurking around this forum and read a lot of helpful posts. Hopefully, some of you guys could help me with my question.

So I graduated from college in 2019 and is now holding a PGWP valid until July 2022. I originally wanted to work for the whole duration of my work permit, and that's why I applied for it. However, I now have the opportunity to enroll in a three-year graduate program in Ontario, I was wondering would it be possible to freeze my PGWP for the period between Sep 2020 (when I go to school) and May 2023 (when I graduate)? Or, would I be eligible to apply for any kind of open work permit other than a PGWP upon my graduation?

Thank you guys in advance!

No - not possible to freeze unfortunately. PGWP is use it or lose it.

Whether you are potentially eligible for another OWP would depend on your age and country of orgin / passport you hold.

There are no passports that qualify for multiple PGWP. PGWP is one is a lifetime.

OP was asking about other opportunities for open work permits.

EDIT: I have corrected my original post to make this clearer.
