Hello to all. I want to know that having a GIC certificate make a good impact on strong visa for canada? I am applying from Pakistan and visa ratio is little bit low for Pakistani students for the study visa. So, Anyone please give their valuable feedback on it. Thank you

Yes having a GIC helps out your study visa application a little bit in terms of assessing your financial status. Of course they need to see how you'd be paying for your tuition as well. The GIC gives them assurance that you will be self sufficient for the duration of your stay for daily expenses.

But my father will be my sponser so hoe can i transfer money from my parents account to gic account?
Which bank are you using for GIC ? Scotia bank ?
If that is the case it has to go through your account. Your father should transfer it to your account, and then the wire transfer should be made through your account. That is a standard procedure for indian students opting for GIC through scotia. Check their website and follow the instructions to proceed.

Since Scotia Bank gives GIC only to Indians, Chinese, vietnam and Philippines
Because my wife is Pakistani and she is applying from
india and her application got refused mentioned that we have not submitted recommended GIC
Yeah gic is not applicable for Pakistani. Actually i didn't know about this thing that's why i asked.
Yes ! a GIC account has its limit to $50,000.So You can add maximum $50,000 in your GIC account and minimum $10,000.
You have to open an online account in either Scotia Bank or HCB ( Only These Two Offers GIC to Pakistanis)
And then you can transfer from Pakistani Bank to the bank where you opened your account in Canada
can you pls tell me which bank in Pakistan is good and offer for transfer 10K CAD to Canada Bank ??
