Hey guys,

I was part time in the last two semesters of my two year diploma. I was originally left with 2 courses for my last semester, out of which I could not get one of the classes because of which I just took one class in the second last semester and then the last class in the last semester. I am just worried if this would affect my post grad work permit??

I couldn't get the classes because my school had limited number of classes which were already full before I could’ve registered into them.

I need an advice of what should I do in order for an approval of my post grad work permit

Yeah you weren't allowed to do that so you may get rejected. If you explain your circumstance then, you might be given a PGWP but it's up to the visa officer what he decides.

At this points there's nothing you can really do but apply and hope for the best.

To qualify for a PGWP, you can only be part time in your last semester. So unfortunatley you should be expecting a refusal. However there's always some very small chance you may be approved.

Should I write my situation in a letter of explanation while submitting my application because It was the university which couldn’t provide me with the class I wanted. I have an email from the head of department where she said that “i cant do anything right now as the number of seats are limited”. I would like to know if I should include that email as a proof?
