I highlight here: These invitations allow persons invited to submit an application for permanent selection in order to obtain a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ - Québec Selection Certificate) within an average period of 6 months. The 6-month period begins on the date when all the information required to process your application (forms and documents) has been received and added to your file. These persons can then submit an application for permanent residence to the Government of Canada.

In fact, this time period is still not clear. Just imaging that, everytime they require additional documents from us, the 6-month period could re-count again and again.

Actually, they did not make it clear at the first time on their website. Right now, they claim that it really start from the time when they received the completed document. That means the time when we wait for the document list is not concluded in the 6-month period. The total time from submitting in Monproject to receiving the CSQ will go up to 1 year now.

It's not cool at all because, in my case, my actual permit will finish in late november. I need the CSQ to switch to another permit (closed work permit). If it's too long I'll have to use the PEQ instead and maybe I will have to pay again

Hi, my friend, I am happy to hear that you can go with PEQ. However, you should go for it quickly. Lot of my friends who submitted for PEQ in last Nov have not got the CSQ until now. Recently, some media report that the PEQ will be reformed again at late-spring.

I'm going to wait few months and I'll see. I'm in the IT and I live in Québec so i'm not worried about any modifications in the PEQ.

I received my personal checklist from MIFI. I should do a certified copy of my translated documents from my original country. I was told that I have to take OTTIAQ confirmation from a Quebecois translator since I am currently living inside Quebec. Did you have the same experience? What should I do?

What is you file number ? When did you open your file in Mon Projet Quebec ?

If you wanne get it translated in quebec the translator must be the member of Ottiaq or else if u want it done frm ontario the translor must be ATIAQ certified u have the option. There are many OTIAQ certified translators in montreal google it

Dont apply work permit again ,for sure it will reject ,and if you dont get csq in a mean time then you have to leave Canda and in any case rejection is not good at all , i faced same problem ,i was waiting for csq and my work permit expired last year so i applied visitor extension and i got it so you can apply extension and wait for csq because for sure you will extension for 6 months and then if you get csq then well n good but if not then you can apply extension for another 6 months and in a mean time you will get your CSQ hopefully .. And you have to apply visitor extension 30 days before your visa expiration date and you have atleast 6 to 7000 $ in your account as a financial proof for next six months .

I am awiting my checklist for CSQ and my employer is filing for an WP - ICT (Intra Company Transfer). The office location for the current client is is Toronto but, in the support letter they will also mention i have to work anywhere within Canada for the clinets, including Quebec. Would this WP-ICT have any impact o my CSQ. Please advise
