After I thought of giving up, a lot of experts are predicting 469-470 for the next draw and expecting that the CRS may drop even more in the coming weeks.

A New Ray of Hope.

Why back to back draw us not happening as previous year?

All the best to everyone.

At the moment, stu

Idk where they got this info from. Am from Canada too. Having 471. Am not even gonna waste my time. Am gonna write ielts test again. A valuable advice from me is do not trust these stories saying cut off will come down. If your score is less than cut off ( even by 1 or 2 points) go for ielts if u haven't maxed out and if u have some bucks. Yes I was devastated and heart broken yesterday but this is life and it's hard. If u really want it, never give up. Above all keep Faith. Also never listen to the people saying cut off will come down in 2-3 draws. Weigh your priorities either 320$ or Permanent residency.
There is no harm to be proactive and exhaust all the options but it doesn't mean that CRS will never drop in the future. Your negativity despite being at 471 may devastate someone below 470s.

Cheer up guys. I have seen people immigrating to Canada with even 400 scores through PNP.

Dual bachelor's won't get you a master's equivalency.
MA isnt Bachelors (not in my case atleast). It was a Level 7 PG program with 170 credits..

Cut-off will come down once the high score candidates slow down coming into the pool and I am pretty sure the draw size will increase gradually to 3900 over the next draws which will also pull down the scores. Lets hope the scores starts to fall soon.

Do all you can. Be Positive.

That’s why we’re all here with a Ray of Hope
Yes that's the point. Even those who are saying that CRS wont drop are basing their assumption on historical data so no one ask these people the basis of their assumption. However when someone says that CRS would drop in future, people literally get offended and say that how can you even assume this.

Stay positive guys and do your maximum efforts to increase your score.

Goodluck

Sadly, they were also all gone last draw.. Since the cutoff was 471.
The release of IELTS results also contributed to the increase by a point.

The results were released on the 24th and 31 st of January.

A lot of people would have updated their scores as well.

The funny thing is the next draw might be on the 19th of Feb, the IELTS result for Feb 1 st exam will also be released on the 14th of Feb.

The honest truth is there is no guarantee that the scores would come down. The best think is to retake the test if you have the opportunity to.

This doesn't matter now as many people are opting for computer delivered ielts

Let's see what WES says about that. I guess you haven't followed the ECA scenario from long.
In all fairness, think its ideal to let me worry about that. Cheers
