Got gcms notes today need an experts suggestions regarding parked Case

Hi all, my stamped passport has less than six months to expire. I want to renew it before I travel cos I’m currently having difficulty booking a flight with the old passport. Would like to find out if I can travel with the old and new passport. Anyone in a similar situation that has landed, pls assist??
as far as I can tell there is no issue. The "Parked Case" you refer to is a note taken on 17 Dec but the officer got whatever information he was waiting for and put another note on 18 Dec where he validated all documents.
Can someone tell me at what stage my application is based on this page and previous gcms page I posted. Also I called CIC on 2nd Feb they told me my Eligibility status is Met. So basically these notes pertain to 6th Jan 2020.
Does anyone have an update on this issue with Parked Case? I am in the same situation. Kindly reach out
