1)
I heard most of the case is rejected.
but some of them did get the student visa and visitor visa for their family at the same time (SOWP also)
Can anyone share some experiences?

2)
If I failed to do so, can I re-apply for study permit only again?
Or I will be blacked list/ ban for the 1st time failure?

Thanks.

Yes, you will most likely get rejected. After all, why do you need your family here? And how are you paying for your education if they are here.

If you fail to do so, you can apply again but know that a failure = lower chance next time you apply + they will see your previous rejection and suspect you

Although we have sufficient fund to live for 2 years and they are minors, I am afraid I shouldn't try to apply visa with them together ...

yes. both under 4
If that is the case then you may have a good chance if you can explain why your partner is not able to care of them back home (if you have one). But you know, if you provide the right context then it might work in your favor.

I would say its worth giving it a go

Hard to predict whether your children will get approved but families of international students do get approved just not all of them. There seems to be a much higher approval rate for masters and PhD students.

You will have to show that you can afford childcare especially if your partner is not coming with you.

Hi yashi haru,
I am going to apply soon and my case is similar to yours.

Just to check with you if my understanding is right or not, isn't the education of minor children free at Canadian schools?

My kids are 7 and 9 years old.

No school is only free if children are entitled to free schooling. Many international students pay to attend Canadian public elementary and high schools.

I got this Canuck. As we discussed in other posts, all minor children are not entitled for free schooling but minor children of parents holding work permit or l study permit visa are waived for tuition fees in public schools. But they need to bear other costs related to the schooling.

I'm just stating this for clarity of others if anyone is having the same questions in mind.

Thanks to you for enlighting me with your knowledge.

Children of students are not guaranteed permits/visas to attend Canadian schools. Same thing as workers. Not all qualify for children to join them in Canada.

Depends on the school board of your choice

I didn't check to accompany with family and got approved
Around me, some success, some failed (with family)
