My fiancé and I are getting married later this year with the plan for me to sponsor him to come to Canada. He does have an overstay with deportation from a country in Europe in his past, only related to his documents nothing criminal. We will disclose this on his application but will this cause any problems in getting his permanent residency approved? Does anyone have experience with a similar case? Thanks
