I am so happy to hear about all of you becoming citizen of this great country. Pls I need an advice, I have posted this before but didn't get an answer. I will be applying for my citizenship by this month, Feb, 2020. I came in as refugee and was granted the status of a protected person. I applied for my pr immediately which was in 2015. I also got married in 2016 to a Canadian and tried to inform ircc about it but to no avail. My PR processing took about 3yrs because I was asked to get police report from China and the whole process was extended. As if that was not enough my medical got expired and I was asked to get a new one which further extended the process. I had a baby in 2017 but because my wife is a Canadian she got her citizenship by birth. In 2018 my Pr process was concluded. I did my landing in Kitchener but was too excited to sign the copr without taking time to go through just to discover that my status on it was SINGLE. Though I am not sponsoring my wife nor my two kids cus they are already citizens, do you think any query will come from this? Do you think this stand as misrepresentation? Pls I need your candid advice. I spoke with one or two lawyers they said it won't pose any problem.... I am waiting for your reply. Thanks....

I'd say that Lawyers' advice is much more reliable than any input from this forum.
