hi, Any update? just kinda worried also about the virus outbreak across the globe. Does it affect the visa delaying.

I don't think so. In Canada, everything is based on rules. If CIC got the notification, They inform us immediately. so don't worry about that :)

Delaying is because of some reasons like security check, the number of applicants and so on.

i also applied for work permit (postdoc) on 26 Dec from india online. I got Biometric update on 3rd Jan. medical exam passed on 10 jan. ince then no update. Its frustrating.

Don't worry... I did biometric on 23 Dec and my medical exam just passed on 2 Jan but still, my application is in progress. However, they said that 6 weeks is the processing time based on the country I applied from.
Could you check the status of "Review of eligibility"?

We are all on the same track. I did it biometric on 27th and medical passed on 10th. when is your joining date?
