I made up a folder of previous research, living and settlement costs etc and things to do in the area.
We were actually 3 hours late to the interview because of a serious road accident. I'm just glad they saw us.
Phone services do seem reasonably high but similar to the UK. Rental property seems great value as you say. Property for sale also seems reasonable and spacious.
Can you please share the folder if possible

Hi pls i would like to have a full understanding of what I might be asked while i am being contacted.

And will the Skype interview come after my application has been reviewed or before then?

I'm sure the questions aren't always the same but I was asked about:

What I do for work,
How much experience I have,
Why I am interested in moving to Morden,
If I was invited for an exploratory visit what would I do with my time in Morden.
How would you explore Morden (e.g. rental vehicle)
Do you have any experience of living in a rural area.
Do you have any relatives elsewhere in Canada,
Have you visited Canada before.

The Skype interview would come after your application is reviewed. You will only get an interview if you pass the initial application stage.
If you have a Skype interview your answers will be put before a panel of people and then they will make a decision on whether to invite you for an interview.

Hi can you pls send the links for searching about Morden and if we successfully passed our Skype interview what will be the next step and what will be the time duration of Skype interview
TIA
For researching you would probably find typing Morden into Google the best option. www.mordentourism.com is a good website though.

As said in previous post your answers to your Skype interview go before a panel to make a decision. It was close to a month before I heard I had been successful. The time duration of the interview is around 20-30 mins.

If you are successful you will receive an exploratory visit invite. With this will also be instructions for what you need to do in Morden on your visit and what to research.

Whilst you are in Morden you would visit employers speak to them , take down business details/leaflets and business cards, if possible. You can put these all in your folder along with information from estate agents, regional connections, activity places you have visited and reciepts from grocery stores.

You would need to make your folder up yourself as it shows you have properly explored and are aware of costs and the lifestyle of living in Morden. This is all in preparation for your final interview in Winnipeg which will take place at the end of your visit.

You can do some research for your folder prior to visiting such as property rental costs and costs of buying a car. You may as well wait for an invite for an exploratory before you start doing this.

True, adding to this, if you get invited to an exploratory visit it is best for you to rent a car (depending on how long you will be staying it will be around 600 CAD). I know it is not cheap but it will help you a lot in terms of convenience. For research just type on Google festivals in Morden /Penbina Valley, and advantages of living in rural areas, and research a bit Manitoba /Winnipeg and Morden /Penbina Valley.

Regards
