Hi guys. I have a question on AOR2 and Bulletin 1 & 2.

My permanent residence application has been transferred to HKVO on Jan 15, 2020, as indicated in the email sent by CPC-Sydney. Additionally, my E-CAS status changed from "application received" to "in progress" on Jan 20, 2020. Is it right of me to presume that my application has arrived in HKVO?

However, I see many applicants whose applications were transferred to HKVO received a generic additional document request batch email or bulletin 1 to confirm the reception of their applications. And I'm getting a little worried because I have received neither.

So my question is: does everyone receive the generic additional document request and bulletin 1 mails after transfer? And would you be so kind as to share your timeline on this?

First, no need to worry (but worry at will if you want to).
Second, In general, you will receive an email from HKVO after they receive your application. Timeline varies from a few days to a few weeks.

Will anyone have an interview arranged in Feb in Hong Kong? Does HK office re-schedule the interview date because of the coronavirus?

It won't hurt anything to order GCMS notes, the order process is about 60 days anyways.

Bulletin 2 is a good sign...Things are moving forward slowly.
BGC can be fast or slow depending on what they decide.
Given the current situation I would expect even slower now.
Stay safe.

I would try to contact them asap.
There is a large waiting room for interviews on the 9th floor at the Consulate office in HK and I'm
guessing they would take precautions with many people waiting together in close quarters.
With flight cancellations and border issues hopefully they would re-schedule the interviews for a later date.

My interview date will be at the beginning of Mar. I just wanna see whether the interviews ahead of mine will be re-scheduled. I wish the interview date will not change because my husband has booked the flight and we have to waited for a longer time to see each other.

PS: The medical institutions have announced that they have found out one medicine can help people to avoid the coronavirus last night. We'll see.

Hopefully everything goes well. Thank you guys here.

March should be a good time and hopefully things have settled down by then.
Don't cancel your flight booking because due to the airline cancellations, it's now very expensive to book a flight.
Good luck even trying to contact Air Canada?

PS: It's good to hear about the medical institutions announcement but
here in the west we have some very good liquid medicine.:D
