Hello,
I just recently became PR and is currently living in Canada and planning to apply for citizenship in the future.
I was reading up the requirements for Citizenship and it says you need to file income tax for 3 out of 5 years as one of the requirements.
I am currently having a full time job, but I am thinking of doing part time because I plan to go back to school for two years.
So my question is, is it still okay for my citizenship application if I only work part-time instead of full-time. And what if I decided to go back to school full-time and not work?

Thank you.

It doesn't matter as long as you file your taxes and live in Canada. You still need to file your tax when you don't work.

Thank you so much. So even if I file for income tax with my part-time job, it won't affect my citizenship application.

If you live in Canada you have to file your taxes regardless of your job situation. Yes you need to file for part-time jobs.
