PR applicants from Iran

Hi Guys,

I'm not Iranian, however, I received ADR for CV, Travel History and Schedule A last November 2019. Most applicant who got the same request their security started soon after the submission. In my case its been +75 days since the submission of ADR and my security has not started yet. Do you have any clue about that ?

This was confirmed by two gcms notes and several calls with the IRCC.

I agree, it is weird. 1- Have you seen a ghost update after your ADR? 2- Has the status of your ADR changed to "Not Applicable" in your account? If the answer is positive, it means that the officer has checked your ADR, and has sent your docs to security. But, if you haven't seen the ghost update, there is a chacne that the officer hasn't looked at your ADR yet.
3- can you check the due date on page 2 of your GCMSnotes?
4- What is the status of your security in your GCMS notes? is it "Not Started" or is it blank?
5- Is there any redaction in your GCMS?

2- Yes It changed to We are reviewing the additional documents you provided then to "Not Applicable" but there was no ghost update

On the day I received the ADR, there is A39-A41 check was created and the status is not started

It might be the case that the officer has already checked your ADR and sent your case for SS (hence the change to Not Applicable), but the person who is responsible for SS either hasn't started or has not updated your GCMS.

Do you think the change to "Not Applicable" happened around 09-Dec-2019? Cuz there is more chance that your case get picked up around the due date.

It changed to not Applicable 7 days after the submission of the ADR. What I could notice in my gcms compared to other’s applicants’ gcms who their got security started after the adr is my file wasn’t assigned to an officer after receiving the documents.

As you alreay know, it is hard to guess what is going on. All I think is that they checked your ADR but then throw the case to a corner and forgot to assign it to someone or they already did, but haven't updated the GCMS. That is why you don't see it. In anyways, I hope someone pick it up again and move it forward.

Don't even think about flagpoling from US border. I did it last week and it was terrible. Literally they arrest me for 5 freaking hours, They took my cell phone and wallet and asked tons of bolshit questions which I couldn't remember & prepped by knowing that I was living in US from 2014 to 2019.

However, I did not get any ghost email and then after a couple of hours , the word UPDATED has been removed and SUBMITTED were replaced with it. What does this mean? Does it mean that they have looked at my case recently? I have submitted a CEC application more than 4 months ago and still waiting!!!

Yes, you received a ghost update. They probably passed your criminality.
