That makes sense. I am the same way. I've only been in the pool 2 months now. And I now that very few get picked right away. But even then, every draw that I'm not picked in feels in my chest. Especially because I live in Alberta right now, and really don't want to leave in 8 months. I probably do the same data mining. Searching the forum for NOCs, trying to figure out who gets picked, and so on. Which is also when I realized how little data we base things on. Yet some people here are super certain in their case. Some saying that if you are in a high volume application field, then you won't get picked. No question about it. Which is impossible for them to know, unless they somehow have the unpublished data of who got picket, and what their NOC is. We simply don't know much about how the system works. Who gets picked, and why. Because we only know a few people, out of hundreds of people. So worrying based on that, doesn't help much
I understand. I really hope you get your breakthrough soon. While each of us wait for ours as well :)

so there have been 3 draws already in Jan.
9th
22nd
29th
It appears this is the case, It would be interesting to see how many NOI's were issued & the CRS cutoff for these draws. Alberta website has not updated anything after 9th Jan draw (I wonder why?)

I was wondering the same thing!!! The uncertainty is just unbearable! At first I thought my score was not high enough (357; waiting for new IELTS result) only to see people getting NOI with even lower scores. You just feel disappointed when you are not selected. Still hopeful!!!

Indeed disappointing. Especially when there is no line of sight as to whats happening. I hope once they receive their quotas for 2020, things should get back on tracks.

And why so few people for each draw?

I saw only couple of posts for 22nd Jan and only one for 29th Jan.

''The AINP issued all 6,000 certificates for 2019. The number of nominations the AINP can issue for 2020 is not yet available; however the AINP will continue to assess applications in the queue and issue nominations in January 2020.

Approximately 2,175 applications await assessment for eligibility''

Here is what I understand. Opening statements mentions they have issued all 6000 certificates for 2019. Then they go on to say they dont have the numbers for 2020. Then they mention, they will continue to assess applications in Queue and issue nominations in Jan 2020.

What queue are they referring to ? If all 6000 certificates are issued, where is this 2,175 number coming from ? Will this be borrowed from 2020 inventory ? In this case, if they bag 6000 nominations again we will be left with only 3825 for the rest of the year. Does someone have a better interpretation to this ?

@Shalid

This exactly what my doubt was if they give out all the 2175 numbers then it will be difficult for us to get our NOI
I feel these are the interets received from the EE stream+ oppurtunity stream togethre

Hope they allocate more for the EE stream

Possible. There are 1,750 from OS still pending. The deadline to get the nomination for provinces is set before March 2020. All we can do is pray & hope that things eventually settle down & we start getting more information directly from AINP.
