Procedural fairness letter for visitor visa

Hi all,
I applied visitor visa on 11th June in New Delhi
On 8th July I got PFL for not declaring previous US visas
On
12 July i responded it was mistake
13 July confirmation for response from high commission in Delhi .
I know they can refuse the case or ban for 5 years too.
Is anyone have faced this situation or know someone who has got in same situation.what was outcome
Is there still hope of getting visa.?
How long it can take to get final decision?

It can take several months for IRCC to make a decision after a PFL is issued. The chances of the visa being approved at this point are extremely low. At this point you are hoping they will give you a simple refusal (i.e. without the misrepresentation ban).

It's to provide you with an opportunity to correct IRCC if in fact their findings are incorrect and you were never refused a visa / never provided incorrect information in your file.

If you did in fact include incorrect information in your application, then it's an opportunity to explain why to hopefully avoid the 5 year ban and receive a straight refusal instead.

The thing working against you is that it will be hard(impossible) to prove that it was just a simple mistake vs leaving out information on purpose. Even the person who does it on purpose with the intention to misrepresent would reply "it was an honest mistake" once caught. Since its hard to tell which scenario it is they can ban 5 years even for honest mistakes.

Bro good luck for you ,I faced similar situation and banned straight away for 5 years after replying to letter,that its was mistake. Thanks

This is normal. It can take months to hear back.

HELLO SHIV, I had the same scenario, I didnt inform them about my previous us refusal (because i currently hold a valid US Visa, and i assumed i was not required to mention since I alrwady have a us visa) i replied to the PFL on 27 january 2020, still no reply , please update if u have any reply, would appreciate if u pm me on faizankarim @ hotmail . Which was January 30th 2020. What can I do in this case...It is really too long
