Same for me. Ecas shows correspondence was sent on 20 JAN but haven't received anything till today. I called them up on 24 JAN and they said to me to wait till today & if not received then I have to call them ,they will resend it again.

We are total 5 ... 2 adult 3 minor

I sent my application in sept 2019
Rcvd status dec
In process in early jan 2020
Only in my application new line is added that they sent correspondence If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.


What is this meaning ? I didnt received any email ... i ch3cked all.
How ircc contact when they ask/request for fingerprint .. email or mail?
And what line they add when they ask for this in our application status....
And for any additional documents if theu require so how they contact ?

If you haven't received the correspondence after waiting 8 days, please call them and they will resend it.

They didn't till me what they sent. they said wait till Jan 27 and if you don't receive any email by then, call us and they will resend it. But in my case, they confirmed it will be an email

My line was updated in ecas on JAN 20 and I am still waiting..thinking positively it should FP request only

I sent email to RCMP to inquire about my fingerprint status. I got replied today that they have sent results back to CIC through mail which will take 8 to 10 days. My fingerprints done at agency on Jan 7 and RCMP sent to CIC on Jan 10.This is exactly the same timeline which fingerprint agency told me.Finger crossed now and waiting for test invite..........all the best to all............

if you are done with your fingerprints you can attach the receipt of fingerprints from the fingerprinting agency by using the webform and send to IRCC.

to inquire from RCMP for fingerprints, this is the email

providing ONLY the following information:

• Your full name
• Your date of birth
• Type of application you submitted (Vulnerable Sector Check, Criminal Record Check)
• Date your application was submitted to the RCMP
• Daytime phone number/email address where you can be reached on weekdays
• Document control number (DCN) - this number is located under the barcode on your transaction copy
