I am sending my application today via Canada post. I want to use xprespost or priorty post of Canada post .

But I am confused regarding regular mail address and courier address.

Which address should I give if i use xprespost or priorty post of Canada post?

Can I get signature services ?

Please tell me your real experience then ll be highly appreciated.

Don’t use the P.O box address if you want to send through xpress and want a signature... use this.Case Processing Centre—Sydney

I submitted my application on Jan 8 and was received on Jan 13. Looking back at the CIT 0002 form, I realized I left question 5 blank as I thought that filling out this section was necessary only if you changed your name or used aliases or nicknames. My legal name at birth is the same as my "social" name but I think my application will be returned. Did anyone go through the same situation and what did you do?

It is only used if you used a different name other than the one you’re applying with. I had the same presumption until I read the instructions again.

I didn’t know this. The info said if you’re using courier which led me to believe fed ex etc. So many things are not clearly stated.

Thanks for this. Has anyone else sent to the courier address for Sydney but used Canada Post express etc and had no issues?

I sent through Priority shipping to the Sydney address.Quite frankly it was a waste of money for me because i sent my package on Jan 15th and it reached only on Jan 23rd.Not sure if it was due to the storms .Canada post also mentioned the parcel reached on Jan 20th or 21st but due to the large volume was signed only on 23rd.Also while mailing the package Canada post folks mentioned to me that it really doesn't matter what address you use for express or Priority. However to be on the safer side follow the instructions as mentioned. Use tracking and better to get a signature when the package is signed. Yes you can also use UPS or Fedex to deliver which will not have any of the complications with Canada Post.

Yes i did..I sent Priority shipping which is supposed to be better than express.
